Belarus Public Holiday December 26

The government of Belarus has confirmed that the upcoming, December 20, non-working day, would be moved to December 26, 2014, which will therefore be a non-working public holiday in Belarus to link the annual Catholic Christmas Day public holiday of Belarus with the subsequent weekend.

The aforementioned announcement is in line with the "Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 1012 as of November 25, 2013" (2013-12-02), which listed all the one-off bridge and day in lieu public holidays in Belarus for 2014, before the beginning of the year, for the second time (2012-12-01), rather than on a case-by-case basis as was the case in previous years (2012-06-03, 2012-04-09, 2012-03-01, and 2011-12-29).
