China Adds 2 National Holidays

(Posted on Thursday, February 27, 2014)

The Chinese government has announced the addition of 2 annual national holidays in China, to commemorate VJ-Day, on September 2, and to commemorate the 1937 sacking of Nanjing, on December 13.

The aforementioned announcement of the addition of 2 annual national holidays in China will most likely not affect the 2014 list of annual non-working public holidays in China, as announced late last year (11-Dec-2013), as these 2 new national holidays will most likely be regular working days.
