Egypt's Central Bank has announced that all Egyptian banks would be closed from Thursday to Saturday, January 1-3, 2015, inclusively, dates which have been declared as bank holidays in Egypt on account of the upcoming Western New Year annual Egyptian bank holiday and the annual Egyptian non-working public holiday for Prophet Mohamed's Birthday.

As is common (25-Jul-2014, 22-Apr-2014, 21-Jul-2013 and 30-Apr-2013), the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has also announce that it would be closed from Thursday to Saturday, January 1-3, 2015, inclusively, on account of the upcoming Western New Year annual Egyptian bank holiday.
