Egypt's Central Bank has announced that all Egyptian banks would be closed from October 3-7, 2014, inclusively, dates which have been declared bank holidays in Egypt on account of the upcoming Eid Al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) annual Egyptian bank and public holidays.
As is common (2014-07-25, 2013-07-21 and 2013-04-30), the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has also announced that it would be closed from October 3-7, inclusively, on account of the upcoming Eid Al-Adha annual Egyptian bank and public holidays.
Last week (2014-09-28), Egyptian authorities had announced extended public sector's Eid Al-Adha non-working public holidays of 2014, for government clerical staff, would run from Friday, October 3, 2014, until Wednesday, October 8, 2014, for the Eid Al-Adha and Army Public Holidays.
