The Eritrean government has announced its list of annual official national and religious non-working public holidays in Eritrea for the calendar year 2014.

In past years (2013-03-23 and 2012-01-03), the announced dates of Muslim public holidays in Eritrea followed, or even preceded, those calculated by the Umm al-Qura calendar used by Saudi Arabia, and were often later changed at the last-minute (2010-09-08 and 2009-09-18).

However, in the aforementioned list of annual official national and religious non-working public holidays in Eritrea for the calendar year 2014, the dates of 2 out of 3 annual Muslim Eritrean public holidays are later than those calculated by the Umm al-Qura calendar used by Saudi Arabia, while the last one is still the date from 2011.
