The government of Guinea Conakry has announced that the upcoming annual Assomption feast had been declared as a non-working public holiday in Guinea Conakry would be observed on Friday, August 15, 2014.
The aforementioned announcement, by the ministre de la Fonction publique, Sekou Kourouma, is in line with last January's government of Guinea Conakry announcement of its list of 2014 non-working public holidays (jours chômés et payés) in the Republic of Guinea Conakry.
