The Kuwaiti Cabinet has approved the nine days annual non-working public holidays for the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr in 2014, as proposed by the Head of Civil Service Commission (CSC).
Last week (2014-07-08), the Kuwaiti Head of Civil Service Commission (CSC) had announced that the extent of the 2014 annual non-working public holidays due to the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr would be nine days.
Interestingly, and contrary to what happened last year (2013-07-28), but in line with what happened in preceding years (2012-08-13 and 2011-08-22), the exact dates for the non-working public holidays were announced, despite the fact that the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr had not yet been definitely set.
