The aforementioned Sunday, May 25, 2014, bank holiday date was not included in the list of official Lebanese bank holidays for the calendar year 2014 which was released at the end of last year (2013-12-21), since it occurs on a Sunday, and is traditionally limited in observance to banks and the public sector (2012-05-15, 2011-05-21 and 2010-05-19).
