At today's Cabinet meeting, the Cabinet of the Government of Mongolia has announced that Friday, January 2, 2015, would be an additional non-working public holiday in Mongolia, to link the annual, January 1st, non-working public holiday with the subsequent weekend.

In addition, the aforementioned announcement confirmed that Monday, December 29, 2014, would be a non-working public holiday in Mongolia to commemorate "the 103rd anniversary of the National Liberty Movement, when Manchu rule ended and national independence was restored under Bogd Khan" (25-Jun-2014 and 20-Dec-2011).
