The president of Nauru has declared Friday, June 20, 2014, as another one-off non-working public holiday in Nauru on the occasion this year's World Refugee Day.
The aforementioned declaration of Friday, June 20, 2014, as a non-working public holiday in Nauru, "in honour ofWorld Refugee Day, and in recognizing and welcoming the refugees that are now living in the Nauru community", is in addition to the list of non-working public holidays for the calendar year 2014 which was announced earlier this year (2014-01-03).
