The Ministry of the Interior of the Federal Government of Pakistan has once again amended the dates for the upcoming Eid-ulAzha (Feast of sacrifice) annual non-working public holidays throughout Pakistan for the calendar year 2014.
As per the aforementioned announcement (Notification No. F.No. 2/6/2013-Public dated 30-09-2014), the upcoming 2014 Eid-ul Azha public holidays in Pakistan will run from Monday to Wednesday, October 6 to 8, 2014, which is a day longer than what was announced in the "expected dates for public and optional holidays for the calendar year 2014" published by the Government of Pakistan at the beginning of the current year (2014-01-09).
