The government of Tunisia has announced that, in addition to the recent announcement of Monday, January 13, 2014, as the date for the annual public holiday for the upcoming Mouled (the Prophet's Birthday) in Tunisia, Tuesday, January 14, 2014, would also be a non-working public holiday in Tunisia, on account of the annual jour de la fête de la Révolution et de la Jeunesse non-working public holiday in Tunisia.
Late last week (2014-01-03), as usual (2013-01-19 and 2012-02-02), the government of Tunisia had already announced that the date for the annual public holiday for the upcoming Mouled (the Prophet's Birthday) in Tunisia, would be Monday, January 13, 2014, and that, as per the "Décret n° 2011-317 du 26 mars 2011, fixant les jours fériés donnant lieu à congé au profit des personnels de l'Etat, des collectivités locales et des établissements publics à caractère administratif" (2011-04-04) there was only one day of public holidays associated with the Prophet's Birthday in Tunisia.
