Turkmenistan's President, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has signed a decree ("On the celebration of Eid al-Adha") once again declaring 3 consecutive days of non-working public holidays in Turkmenistan, from Sunday to Tuesday, October 5-7, 2014, on account of the upcoming annual Kurban Bayramy (Feast of Sacrifice) and related non-working public holidays of Turkmenistan.

Two years ago, an initial decree (2012-10-24) declaring 3 consecutive days of non-working public holidays in Turkmenistan on account of the upcoming Feast of Sacrifice, was later extended by one day (2012-10-25). But this was not the case last year (2013-10-05).
