The government of Belarus, via its First Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Security, Andrew Lobovich, has announced that it had finalized its annual list of official public holidays in Belarus for the upcoming calendar year 2016.
We expect that the soon to be released resolution confirming the aforementioned announcement of the annual list of official public holidays in Belarus for the upcoming calendar year 2016, will, for the 4th consecutive year (2014-11-12, 2013-12-02 and 2012-12-01), list one-off bridge and day in lieu public holidays in Belarus for 2016, before the beginning of the year, rather than on a case-by-case basis as was the case in previous years (2012-06-03, 2012-04-09, 2012-03-01, and 2011-12-29), though last-minute changes are always possible (2014-12-17).
