The State Secretary of the government of Malaysia's State of Johor, Datuk Ismail Karim, has declared tomorrow, Sunday, November 1st, 2015, as another one-off state public holiday in Malaysia's State of Johor to celebrate the Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) becoming the champions of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup, earlier today.

As per the aforementioned announcement, Sunday, November 1st, 2015, was declared as another one-off state public holiday in Malaysia's State of Johor as "the Southern Tigers the first Malaysian team to win the regional football competition in history".

One-off state public holidays in Malaysia are often declared for football and sports-related events (2015-05-19, 2014-11-02, 2013-11-01, 2013-10-30, 2013-06-13, 2012-10-15, 2012-07-18, 2012-05-14, 2011-11-21, 2011-06-13, 2011-06-11, 2010-12-30, 2010-12-29, 2010-10-30, 2009-11-04,...).

Note that Fridays are part of the weekend, and Sundays are regular working days, in Kelantan as well as the Malaysian states of Kedah, Terengganu, and, most recently, Johor (2013-11-23).
