The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced that the Government of Kyrgyzstan had ruled-out the declaration of another additional non-working public holiday in Kyrgyzstan on Monday, March 23, 2015, to compensate the fact that the upcoming Nowruz annual non-working public holiday of Kyrgyzstan falls on a Saturday in 2015.
The aforementioned announcement is in line with the expected, but yet to be released, calendar of annual non-working public holiday in Kyrgyzstan for the calendar year 2015, partially announced late last year (2014-12-26). Declaring a day in lieu public holiday due to an annual non-working public holiday in Kyrgyzstan falling on a Saturday, as happened last year (2014-03-05), is uncommon.
