Macedonia's Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has announced that Sunday, May 24, 2015, would be a non-working public holiday throughout Macedonia "for all citizens of the Republic of Macedonia" on account of the upcoming "Saints Cyril and Methodius' Day" annual public holiday in Macedonia.

The announcement goes on to state that, as per the Law on Holidays of the Republic of Macedonia, as May 24 is a Sunday, in 2015, Monday, May 25, 2015, will be a day in lieu non-working public holiday in Macedonia.

The above are in line with the Macedonian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy's official list of 2015 public holidays in Macedonia, as published earlier this year (2015-01-05), and, more generally with the Law on Holidays of the Republic of Macedonia (Official Gazette, and Br.21/98 7.18) as last amended in 2007 (2007-02-08).
