Following yesterday's earthquake, the Chief Minister of Malaysia's State of Sabah, Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman, has announced that he had decided to declare Monday, June 8, 2015, as a one-off non-working state public holiday in Malaysia's State of Sabah "as a sign of respect and concern for the victims and their families".
Interestingly, this morning's announcement that Monday, June 8, 2015, had been declared as a one-off non-working state public holiday in Malaysia's State of Sabah, follows public admonishments by Sabah's Chief Minister, Afeiza Khan, that news of Musa announcing Friday, June 5, 2015, as a public holiday were false ("Please stop spreading the hoax. Thank you. The CM's Press Office").
