The Chief Executive Officer of the Samoan Ministry of Commerce, Industry And Labour, Peseta Margaret Malua, has announced that the government of Samoa had declared Friday and Saturday, December 25-26, 2015, as well as Friday and Saturday, January 1-2, 2016, as non-working public holidays in Samoa on account of the annual Christmas and New Year non-working public holidays in Samoa for 2015/2016.

The declaration of Friday and Saturday, December 25-26, 2015, as well as Friday and Saturday, January 1-2, 2016, as non-working public holidays in Samoa on account of the annual Christmas and New Year non-working public holidays in Samoa for 2015/2016, is in line with the quadrennial list of official non-working public holidays in Samoa for the calendar years 2015-2016-2017-2018, as released by the Samoan Ministry of Commerce, Industry And Labour in past years (2014-04-20 and 2011-09-06).
