Spain 2016 Murcia Public Holidays Gazetted

Spain's autonomous region of La Murcia through the Dirección General de Trabajode la Comunidad Autónoma de la Región de Murcia has finally gazetted the calendar of official public holidays (calendario laboral) for the upcoming calendar year 2016, which it had unofficially announced last winter.

Last winter (2015-02-21), the executive of Spain's autonomous region of La Murcia had released its calendar of official non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) for the upcoming calendar year 2016, and these are confirmed by the aforementioned gazette publication "Resolución de 10 de septiembre de 2015, por la que el titular de la Dirección General de Trabajo aprueba publicar las fiestas laborales para el año 2016" (BORM de 22 de septiembre de 2015).

In that announcement, the regional public holidays chosen by the autonomy of La Murcia, for 2016, on the recommendation of the Consejería de Educación, Formación y Empleo, are: March 19 (San José), June 9 (Día de la Región de Murcia), and December 26 (lunes siguiente a la Natividad del Señor).
