The Government of India's State of Telangana has announced that it had decided to declared Tuesday, June 2, 2015, as a non-working public holiday in India's State of Telangana to mark the first anniversary of the formation of the Indian State of Telangana.
Telangana was formed as the 29th state of India on June 2, 2014, having been separated from the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, and the list of non-working public holidays in India's state of Telangana was originally published in the "G.O.Rt.No.995, General Administration (Poll.A) Department, dated 05.11.2014, notifying the General Holidays and Optional Holidays 2015".
