Thailand's Government has issued a communique via Junta Spokesman, Weerachon Sukondhapatipak, ruling-out the possibility of declaring Friday, December 11, 2015, as an additional public holiday in Thailand.

There had been a lot of rumours on Thai social media that Friday, December 11, 2015, would be declared as a one-off non-working bridge public holiday in Thailand, on account of that day's "Bike for Dad" cycling event being held to celebrate national Father's Day, and to link the annual, December 10, Constitution Day, non-working public holiday of Thailand with the subsequent weekend.

It thus appears that the official list of 2015 non-working public holidays in Thailand, released late last year (2014-07-13), then completed (2014-12-08) and later amended (2015-01-28).
