The Cabinet of Ministers of the Ukraine has issued a communiqué confirming the official list of May 2015 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, as had been announced late last year.

Last November (2014-11-17), the Cabinet of Ministers of the Ukraine had passed a resolution specifying the official list of 2015 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, a list which included additional non-working public holidays in the Ukraine.

As was done in the past (2014-11-13, 2013-11-21, 2012-05-30, 2012-04-23, 2012-03-01, 2011-06-20, 2011-02-24, 2010-08-13, 2008-12-10, 2007-11-29, and 2005-12-23), these additional one-off bridge public holidays were to be compensated by corresponding working Saturdays.

The aforementioned communiqué goes on to re-iterate that the recently declared "Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation", on May 8, would be a regular working day, and not a non-working public holiday in the Ukraine.
