Zimbabwe's Home Affairs Ministers, Ignatius Chombo, has gazetted an amended version of the recently-released annual announcement of the dates for the 2016 non-working public holidays in Zimbabwe in terms of the Zimbabwe Public Holidays and Prohibition of Business Act (Chapter 10:21).
The aforementioned announcement ("General Notice 242 of 2015, Republished with Corrections") thus amends the list of the dates for the 2016 non-working public holidays in Zimbabwe (General Notice of 2015. Public Holidays 2016), as usual (2014-07-28, 2013-06-29, 2013-02-04 and 2012-08-01), released earlier this summer (2015-08-31) by, and which as per custom did not include any special public holidays that the President has the power to declare ("This list does not include any days which the President may declare to be public holidays in terms of Section 2 (2) of the Public Holidays and Prohibition of Business Act (Chapter 10:21),").
