Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers has issued a decree declaring Monday, September 26, 2016, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Azerbaijan as it coincides with the upcoming constitutional referendum ("On Amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan").

The aforementioned declaration of Monday, September 26, 2016, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Azerbaijan for the upcoming constitutional referendum ("On Amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan") had been informally announced, earlier this summer (2016-07-27), in addition to the previously announced (2015-12-25) list of annual non-working public holidays in Azerbaijan for the calendar year 2016.
