Botswana Public Holiday January 3

The government of Botswana has announced that Tuesday, January 3, 2017, would be a day in lieu non-working public holiday in Botswana, on account of January 1st, 2017, falling on a Sunday.

As per the press release of the press release from the Botswana Directorate of Public Service Management: "in line with Section 2 (ii) of the Public Holidays Act CAP 03:07, which provides that if January 2nd, October 1st or Boxing Day falls on a Monday, the following Tuesday shall be observed as a public holiday".
