Ghana's Minister of the Interior, Prosper Bani, has issued a statement indicating that Wednesday, December 7, 2016, had not been, and most likely would not be, declared a non-working public holiday in Ghana on account of that date's General Elections.

The aforementioned announcement that Wednesday, December 7, 2016, had not been, and most likely would not be, declared a non-working public holiday in Ghana on account of that date's General Elections, is in line with the list of official 2016 non-working public holidays in Ghana, announced earlier this year (01-Jan-2016).
