Ghana's Minister of the Interior, Prosper Bani, has issued a statement indicating that Friday, December 2, 2016, had been declared a non-working public holiday in Ghana on account of Farmers’ Day, and that that day was a statutory holiday to be observed as such.
The aforementioned announcement that National Farmer's Day, on Friday, December 2, 2016, would be a non-working public holiday in Ghana, is in line with the list of official 2016 non-working public holidays in Ghana, announced earlier this year (2016-01-01), but follows some confusion a few weeks ago about the actual date of Farmer's Day being or not a non-working public holiday in Ghana (2016-11-03 and 2016-09-03).
