Ghana's Minister of the Interior, Prosper Bani, has issued a statement informing the public that President Mahama had declared Monday, May 2, 2016, as a non-working public holiday in Ghana, on account of the annual May Day public holiday of Ghana falling on a Sunday.
The aforementioned announcement that Monday, March 7, 2016, had been declared a statutory non-working public holiday in Ghana on account of the annual May Day public holiday of Ghana, falling on a weekend in 2016, is in line with the list of official 2016 non-working public holidays in Ghana, announced earlier this year (2016-01-01).
