Iranian 2016-2017 Public Holidays Announced

The Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis), has officially announced the annual official list of non-working public holidays in Iran for the upcoming Persian year 1395, running from March 20, 2016, to March 20, 2017.

The aforementioned list of official public holidays in Iran for 2016-2017 is the same as in recent years (2015-03-15, 2014-03-08, 2013-03-11, 2012-03-24, 2011-03-05, 2010-03-16, 2009-03-04, 2008-03-11, and 2007-03-08), most notably still including all five annual public holidays that were meant to have been canceled in 2005 by Iran's Majles Social Committee (2005-08-18).

The aforementioned definitive and official list of public holidays in Iran for the Persian year 1395, running from March 20, 2016, to March 20, 2017, for the fourth year, adds a second day to the End of Ramadan, 2016 Eid-e-Fitr public holidays in Iran.
