The Mongolian government has announced that Tuesday, March 8, 2016, would be a non-working public holiday in Mongolia, on account of International Women's Day.
The aforementioned announcement that Tuesday, March 8, 2016, would be a non-working public holiday in Mongolia, was not accompanied by any mention of a possible declaration of Monday, March 7, 2016, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Mongolia, to link the March 8, International Women's Day, annual non-working public holiday of Mongolia, with the preceding weekend, as was done on some occasions in the past (2014-12-22, 2012-12-23 and 2011-06-30).
