The spokesperson of Nepal's Home Ministry, Balkrishna Panthi, has announced that the government of Nepal had decided to declare Thursday, November 10, 2016, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Nepal on account of the annual Nepalese holiday of Phalgunanda Jayanti.
The aforementioned announcement that Nepal's government had declared Thursday, November 10, 2016, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Nepal on account of the annual Nepalese holiday of Phalgunanda Jayanti, is in addition to last spring's (2016-04-02) gazetted list of official non-working public holidays in Nepal for the Nepalese year 2073 (mid-April 2016 to mid-April 2017).
Though the Thursday, November 10, 2016, one-off non-working public holiday in Nepal is in theory limited to the followers of the Kiranti religion, the effects are being felt in the general Nepalese administration, with Parliament Press Advisor, Babin Sharma, announcing that tomorrow's impeachment hearings against CIAA chief, Lok Man Singh Karki, would be postponed until Friday.
