Nigerian Public Holiday October 3

The Minister of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, via his Acting Permanent Secretary, Muhammadu Maccido, has announced that the Nigerian Government, had declared Monday, October 3, 2016, as a non-working public holiday throughout Nigeria on account of Nigeria's upcoming 56th annual independence anniversary.

The aforementioned declaration of Monday, October 3, 2016, as a non-working public holiday throughout Nigeria is in line with similar announcements over the past years (2015-09-28, 2014-09-25, 2013-09-24, 2012-09-28, 2011-09-26 and 2010-09-23).
