The Government of Romania has reminded the population that the new annual holiday in Romania, starting on February 19, 2016, to mark the birth anniversary of the Romanian sculptor Constantin Brancusi, was not a non-working public holiday in Romania.

Last autumn (04-Jan-2016), the Government of Romania had announced that Romanian President, Klaus Johannis, had promulgated a new annual holiday in Romania, starting on February 19, 2016, to mark the birth anniversary of the Romanian sculptor Constantin Brancusi.
