Ukraine's Central Bank, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), has issued a reminder that there will be 2, one-off, non-working bank holidays in the Ukraine on March 7 and June 27, 2016.
The aforementioned announcement of one-off, non-working bank holidays in the Ukraine on March 7 and June 27, 2016, is in line with the with the "Cabinet Disposition number 1155 of November 11, 2015" of the Government of the Ukraine (2015-11-12), setting forth the list of official non-working public holidays in 2016, including the postponement of some working days in 2016, "in order to create favorable conditions for the rational use of working time" (2015-11-12).
The aforementioned declaration of March 7 and June 27, 2016, as a one-off bank holiday in the Ukraine, will be compensated by banks in the Ukraine opening as for a regular working day, on Saturday, March 12, and Saturday, July 2, 2016.
