Bahrain's Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, has issued a circular declaring Friday, December 1, 2017, as the date of the upcoming annual non-working 2017 public holiday in Bahrain to mark the Anniversary of the Birthday of Prophet Mohammed non-working public holiday of Bahrain.
As was the case some previous years (2016-12-06, 2015-12-20, 2014-01-09 and 2013-01-21), but not all (2014-12-31 and 2012-02-01), as the aforementioned date of the upcoming annual non-working 2017 public holiday in Bahrain to mark the Anniversary of the Birthday of Prophet Mohammed, does not coincide with the Fridays and Saturdays weekly days of rest in Bahrain (2006-08-02), the aforementioned circular makes no mention of a day in lieu non-working public holiday for the Kingdom of Bahrain's ministries and state departments.
