Balears 2018 Public Holidays Approved

The spokesperson for the Consell de Govern of Spain's autonomous region of the Balears, Pilar Costa, has announced that the Consell de Govern had approved its official annual calendar of 2018 regional and national public holidays in Spain's autonomous region of the Balears (calendario laboral).

The aforementioned announcement thus officializes the earlier announcement (2017-07-09) list of the of 2018 regional and national public holidays in Spain's autonomous region of the Balears ("Acuerdo del Consejo de Gobierno de 7 de julio de 2017 por el que se aprueba el calendario de fiestas para el año 2018 en el ámbito de las Illes Balears" BOIB de 8 de julio de 2017), once again (2016-06-20, 2015-04-11, 2014-06-24, 2012-09-22, 2011-11-26, 2010-12-19, 2009-06-21, 2008-08-02 and 2007-08-04) includes Easter Monday as one of the autonomy's public holidays.

The announced list of 2018 public holidays of Spain's autonomous region of the Balears, this time, does not include December 26 as a public holiday in the Balears, as was done on and off in the past (2015-04-11, 2013-10-12, 2010-12-19 and 2008-08-02).
