Ghana Public Holiday December 1

Ghana's Minister of the Interior, Ambrose Dery, has issued a statement indicating that Friday, December 1, 2017, had been declared a non-working public holiday in Ghana on account of Farmers’ Day, and that that day was a statutory holiday to be observed as such.

The aforementioned announcement that National Farmer's Day, on Friday, December 1, 2017, would be a non-working public holiday in Ghana, is in line with the list of official 2017 non-working public holidays in Ghana, announced earlier this year (2016-12-30), with this year none of the confusion last year about the actual date of Farmer's Day being or not a non-working public holiday in Ghana (2016-11-03 and 2016-09-03).
