Hungary's Parliament is considering a bill to make December 24 a new annual non-working public holiday in Hungary.
The declaration of December 24 a new annual non-working public holiday in Hungary would not have any impact until 2019, as December 24 is a Sunday in 2017, and Monday, December 24, 2018, was already declared as a one-off non-working public holiday, earlier this year (2017-04-07), when the Government of Hungary announced an expanded version of its annual list of official non-working public holidays in Hungary for the calendar year 2018.
