The government of Iran has declared a one-off non-working public holiday in Iran on Saturday, August 5, 2017, on the day of the upcoming inauguration of president Hassan Rouhani in the Majlis.

The aforementioned declaration of a one-off non-working public holiday in Iran on Saturday, August 5, 2017, on the day of the upcoming inauguration of president Hassan Rouhani in the Majlis, is in addition to the list of official public holidays in Iran for 2017-2018, for the Persian year 1396, running from March 21, 2017, to March 20, 2018, announced a few months ago (2017-03-26).
