The annual list of bank holidays and non-working public holidays in the Republic of Ireland for the calendar year 2019, has been released.
As usual (2016-07-04, 2015-07-07, 2014-07-03, 2011-11-18 and 2013-01-14), the aforementioned list of bank holidays and non-working public holidays in the Republic of Ireland for the calendar year 2019, includes non-working public holidays as well as banks-only non-working days, and pointedly specifies that "Good Friday is not a public holiday. While some schools and businesses close on that day, you have no automatic entitlement to time off work on that day".
