The Cabinet of the Government of Kazakhstan has confirmed the draft amendments to the annual list of 2018 public holidays in Kazakhstan as announced 2 months ago.

Today's decision confirms last autumn's (2017-10-17) announcement by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan of draft amendments to the previously-released annual list of 2018 public holidays in Kazakhstan.

As was the case some previous years (2017-10-05, 2016-01-13, 2015-01-17, 2013-12-26, 2013-02-18, 2012-02-17 and 2011-01-14), but not all (2016-05-31), the list of non-working public holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2018 was announced rather late in the year, and is now followed by amendments, as regards to days in lieu and bridge holidays and compensatory working Saturdays (2016-03-28, 2016-03-14, 2016-03-03,...).
