The Ministry of Labor and Social Development of Kyrgyzstan has announced that it would soon submit a draft resolution "On The Transfer Of Non-working Days In Connection With Upcoming New Year Holidays" which would create a 4-day period of non-working public holidays in Kyrgyzstan around the upcoming New Year public holiday of Kyrgyzstan.
If something was to come out of today's announcement, then it would be a repeat of last year, when the "Government Resolution Dated December 12, 2016 No.665 About Transfer Of The Working Day" (2016-12-14 and 2016-11-26), specified that January 1 to 3, 2017, would be non-working public holidays in Kyrgyzstan, but that Monday, January 9, 2017, would be a regular day for Tuesday, January 3 being a one-off non-working public holiday in Kyrgyzstan in 2017.
