Maldives 2017 Public Holidays Announced

The government of the Maldives has released its annual list of official public holidays in the Maldives for the calendar year 2017.

As was the case in past years (2016-01-04, 2015-01-06, 2014-01-08, 2013-01-07, 2012-01-06, 2011-01-04, 2010-01-05, 2009-01-06, 2008-01-04 and 2007-01-05), the aforementioned list of official public holidays in the Maldives for the calendar year 2017 confirms the dates of the Maldives public holidays that are based on the Islamic calendar, and adds the new annual Labour Day public holiday announced 6 years ago (2011-04-29).
