Nigerian 2017-2018 Year-End Public Holidays

The Minister of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Abdulrahman Dambazau, via his Permanent Secretary, Abubakar Magaji, has announced that the Nigerian Government, had declared Monday, December 25, 2017, Tuesday, December 26, 2017, and Monday, January 1, 2018, as non-working public holidays throughout Nigeria "for the Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year celebrations".

The aforementioned declaration of Monday, December 25, 2017, Tuesday, December 26, 2017, and Monday, January 1, 2018, as non-working public holidays throughout Nigeria, is as expected and in line with past announcements (23-Dec-2016, 30-Dec-2015, 22-Dec-2015, 17-Dec-2015, 19-Dec-2014, 20-Dec-2013, 17-Dec-2012 and 21-Dec-2011).
