Oman 2017 Eid al-Fitr Public Holidays

Omani authorities have once again announced dates for the upcoming 2017 Eid Al Fitr (End of Ramadan) non-working public holidays in Oman, which are the same for the public sector and the private sector of Oman.

The aforementioned announcement by Oman's to Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court and Chairman of the Civil Service Council, for the public sector, and the Minister of Manpower, for the private sector, for the 5th consecutive year (2016-06-27, 2015-07-13, 2014-07-21 and 2013-08-08), declared the same dates for both the private and public sectors of Oman for the upcoming 2017 Eid Al Fitr (End of Ramadan) non-working public holidays in Oman, while in preceding years, the public sector of Oman benefited from more public holidays than the private sector (2012-08-12 and 2011-08-24, for example).

The upcoming 2017 Eid Al Fitr (End of Ramadan) non-working public holidays in Oman, for both the public sector and the private sector of Oman, will thus run from June 24-29, 2017, inclusively.
