The government of Palau has released its annual list of the official non-working public holidays in Palau for the upcoming calendar year 2018.
Once again (2016-12-03, 2015-12-29, 2014-12-28), the aforementioned list of annual non-working public holidays in Palau for the calendar year 2018 confirms the cancellation of the short-lived Memorial Day annual non-working public holiday (2014-01-02, 2013-05-27 and 2011-05-06) and the recent declaration by Palau's President, Tommy E. Remengesau Jr., of a new holiday called Family Day to be observed "every fourth Friday of November" (2017-11-21).
