Ukraine 2018 Public Holidays Draft

Ukraine's Ministry of Social Policy has prepared a draft resolution for the Cabinet of Ministers of the Ukraine specifying the annual official list of 2018 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, which, as in previous years, except last year, includes a decision to postpone working days in 2018, in order to create favorable conditions for the rational use of working time.

In addition to the list of non-working public holidays 2018 in the Ukraine, as set out in the Government Order, as was done in the past (2016-11-15, 2016-08-17, 2015-11-12, 2014-11-17, 2014-11-13, 2013-11-21, 2012-05-30, 2012-04-23, 2012-03-01, 2011-06-20, 2011-02-24, 2010-08-13, 2008-12-10, 2007-11-29, and 2005-12-23), a series of additional one-off bridge public holidays was declared in 2018, to be compensated by corresponding working Saturdays.

Today's draft announcement of the official list of 2018 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, comes much later than in previous years (2016-08-17 and 2015-09-25).

Note that today's draft announcement of the official list of 2018 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, does not include the new December 25 public holiday in the Ukraine voted last week in bill 5496, and recently sent to the Ukrainian President for ratification (2017-11-16 and 2017-03-28).
