The Ministry of Social Policy of the Ukraine has issued a communiqué confirming and detailing the official list of June 2017 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, as had been announced late last year.
Last November (2017-01-01and 2016-11-15), the Cabinet of Ministers of the Ukraine had issued a disposition specifying the official list of 2017 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, a list which included additional non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, some of these additional non-working public holidays in the Ukraine falling in June 2017.
Recall that, earlier this year (2017-01-31), the Institute of National Remembrance of the Ukraine (IPN) has released a draft law "On public holidays in Ukraine", which, among other things, would put an end to the practice of Ukrainian public holidays which fall on a weekend causing the next Monday to be declared an additional public holiday in the Ukraine, with the exception of Easter and Christmas.
