The acting President of Uzbekistan, Nigmatilla Tulkinovich Yuldashev, has issued his annual resolution "On celebration of Ramadan Hayit" which declares Monday, June 26, 2017, as the non-working day off public holiday in Uzbekistan for the upcoming Ramazan Hayit (End of Ramadan).
As per the aforementioned decree, Monday, June 26, 2017, was declared as a non-working day off public holiday, but once again (2015-07-16 and 2014-07-23) no additional day in lieu public holiday was announced, as compared to 4 years ago (2012-08-17), when President Karimov signed a resolution which declared Monday, August 20, 2012, as an additional non-working day off public holiday, due to the first day of the Ramadan Hayit of 2012 falling on a Sunday and "to celebrate the Hayit properly".
